Yusuf Mohamed, affectionately known as Joey, is the epitome of the new entrepreneurial spirit in South Africa; his enthusiasm for success is infectious and born out of real life experience.
As a child, Joey was afraid of the water. One day at age 8, he decided to overcome his fear, and went straight in, facing the waves head on. Since then, he has never looked back on any challenge, and instead faced each fear as he did that moment on Muizenberg beach, with determination to succeed.
By age 14 he was driving a car, whilst his friends rode on their bicycles.
By his twenties, he had already managed two businesses successfully. On the cusp of his thirties he is set on developing his own business, Gasguys.
Gasguys supplies gas and is committed to providing the kind of service that will ensure that each individual’s needs are met.
